INSTITUTE OF PHYSICS AND TECHNOLOGY

The Institute of Physics and Technology (FTI) was organized in November 1943. In accordance with Resolution No. 1552 of the SNK of Uzbekistan dated 03.11.1943. The Institute of Physics and Technology (FTI) of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan is one of the oldest institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Research in the fields of physical electronics, solid state physics, semiconductor physics, nuclear physics, cosmic ray physics, solar engineering, and high-temperature materials science was started here. The Institute of Nuclear Physics (1956), the Institute of Electronics (1967) and in 1987 were established on the basis of scientific directions and divisions of the FTI. - NGO "Physics-the Sun" of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Institute of Material Management was organized in 1993 on the basis of a number of laboratories of the FTI and its Pilot production with a Large Solar Furnace.
